Clara was born on March 28th, 1902 in Horley, Surrey, England. Clara's father was Thomas Kenward and her mother was Susannah Maynard. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Kenward and Amelia Daniels. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, James, Percival, Frederick, George, Susannah, Amelia, Lizzie and Edith. She was the youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 80 in 1982 in Bromley, Kent, England.
