William George was born in 1882 in Tendring. William George's father was Herbert Brunwin and his mother is Mary Ann. His paternal grandparents were Robert William Brunwin and Sarah Ann Miles. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Frederick, Herbert Miles, Horace Thomas M, Margaret Annie, Lily Elizabeth, Annie Bertha, Minnie Beatrice, Susannah Dancey and Amy Constance. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 85 in 1967.
