Doreen was born on April 1st, 1915 in Reigate, Surrey, England. Doreen's father was Herbert Parris and her mother was Rosina Kenward. Her maternal grandparents were William Kenward and Ellen Sargant. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Cyril, Herbet, Frederick, Bessie and Dorothy. She was the third youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 59 in 1974 in Honiton, Devon, England.
