Helen was born on February 13th, 1882 in Burstow, Surrey, England. Helen's father was William Budgen and her mother is Mary Kenward. Her maternal grandparents were Robert Kenward and Amelia Daniels. She had a brother and three sisters, named William, Minnie, Annie and Mabel. She was the second oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 92 in 1974 in Surrey South Eastern, England.
