George Turpin Blackler

George Turpin was born in 1853 in Totnes,Devon,England.  George Turpin's father is Richard Henry Blackler and his mother is Mary Ann Turpin.  His paternal grandparents are Thomas Blackler and Rebecca Norris; his maternal grandparents are Male Turpin and Mary. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William, Samuel Turpin, John Evans Turpin, Mary Ann, Ellen, Eliza and Minnie Kate.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 81 in 1934.
