Octavia was born in March 1863 in Inworth, Essex, England. Octavia's father was Robert William Brunwin and her mother was Sarah Ann Miles. Her paternal grandparents were John Brunwin and Hannah Wade. She had eight brothers and six sisters, named Wilfred, James, William, Herbert, Frederick, Barnard Robert, Miles Harry, Horace, Connie, Hilda, Margaret Hannah, Elizabeth Mary, Bertha Miles and Martha. She was the seventh youngest of the fifteen children. She died at the age of 48 on July 25th, 1911.
